Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas provides vital support to families with hospitalized children. We were honored to contribute to their mission by supporting the 25th annual Bandana Ball gala.

The Ronald McDonald House of Central Texas came to us with two requests: first, refresh the Bandana Ball logo, and second, develop the key art and branding for the event.
With the event dates quickly approaching, they needed event branding in place so that they could begin to promote the event and garner the support of donors through event sponsorship. A hand-drawn illustration was created to be printed on bandanas for the event guests and serve as the visual theme for the event.
Custom illustration meets purposeful typography.
The request presented our team with a unique challenge; find a way to visually express "Aspen Meets Austin", the theme-to-be of the 2025 Bandana Ball. Our team explored this idea through research and moodboards before presenting our concept and sketch to the client. The custom illustration combines the imagery of two cities rich with culture.
In tandem with the illustration style and color palette, selecting the right typeface played an important role in communicating the upscale, luxe nature of the fundraising event. An elegant serif font was chosen for the Bandana Ball logo, with a complimentary san-serif font to support the event theme and act as a centerpiece of the bandana artwork.
